The Atomics!
When I visited Atom Books HQ in London for their blogger meet-up, the mentioned a new scheme they were going to introduce called The Atomics– a scheme where 12-18 year olds can sign up and receive free review copies of up coming books published by Atom. Being the only under-age person at the meet-up, I was adopted as their very first Atomic…
That was all a few weeks ago, and today I got an email from Atom declaring the Atomics scheme officially open! If you’re under 18, and interested in reading/reviewing up and coming books, I fully recommend this; even if you don’t own a blog (The Atomics was specifically set up for non-bloggers, although it doesn’t matter if you do own one), as all the reviews will be published on the Atom/Atomics website.
Some infomation from the press release:
Atom, the young adult fiction imprint of Little, Brown, is delighted to announce the creation of The Atomics – a brand new young reviewers programme for readers aged twelve to eighteen.
Atom has been busy expanding their list to include a wide-range of young adult titles, including mystery, adventure and humour alongside their more well-known paranormal series. And now they want to share it with everyone else!
Anyone who joins The Atomics will get the chance to receive pre-publication copies of new titles to review. The reviewers for each month will have their reviews posted in a new, dedicated section of the Atom website where they can be seen and commented on by anyone else who is interested in Atom’s books.
